Thursday June 12th, 1993 is the day that Democracy died in Nigeria. It is now the time for us to speak out in the Diaspora and fight for our African Brothers and  Sisters against Poor Governance. We can not sit back, keep quiet and be apathetic any longer. Come be part of this Artistic Protest to stand against the Nigerian Government.

Please come out and support this phenomenal Artist as his band continues to thrill audiences across New York. The music is a delicious blend of genres ranging from Afrobeat to Soul and even venturing into reggae. It is always a fun affair when the Afromysterics are thrown into the mix.

Hey guys, Remember we have a show on Friday, May 2 at the Shrine from 9-10PM? Well, it gets better. After jamming with us at The Shrine ( 2271 Adam Clayton Powell Jr Blvd, Harlem), come join us at Silvana (300 W 116th St, Harlem) from 10:30 PM till midnight. Sounds like a great way to kickoff the weekend no?

There will be a solo Afromysterics Exhibition tagged Ayanmo: Soul.Searching.Destiny at ARTs East New York (581 Hegeman Ave. Brooklyn, NY 11208) telling stories of African mythology, African politics, African proverbs, African deities, and African gods that weave together with patterns, lines in charcoal, ink, and acrylic. 

Opening Reception: 15th March, 2014

Time: 6-8PM

Exhibition will run through April.
